The Airlangga University delegation, represented by AIIOC, arrived in Leiden to further coordinate regarding the 13th ICAS 2024 in Surabaya. The agenda was primarily concerned with the continuation of cooperation operations between Airlangga University and IIAS, as well as non-degree training programs for AIIOC staff.
AIIOC (Airlangga Institute for Indian Ocean Crossroad) along with IIAS continued the preparation for the 13th ICAS by holding a meeting with culture and art communities of Surabaya and Sidoarjo at Ria Galeria, Surabaya on 02 September 2023.
On 18 February 2023, the AIIOC and IIAS delegations visited the Trowulan site, Mojokerto, East Java for a brief historical study. This event was held after the roundtable discussion at Hotel Bumi had ended.
In preparation for the 2024 International Convention of Asian Scholars (ICAS) and also the establishment of the Airlangga Institute of Indian Ocean Crossroads (AIIOC), several delegates from Universitas AirlanggaÂ
